Parking and Equipment Loading/Unloading

For events in Kane and Mary Gates Hall, the Central Plaza Parking Garage (CPG) is the most convenient place to park.

Parking in the Central Plaza Parking Garage

  • Enter via the east entrance at 41st St. and 15th Ave.
  • To pay, you may either:
    • Stop at the CPG Gatehouse, pay attendant and park where directed
    • Bypass the gatehouse and find an available spot on levels C02, C03 or C04, then pay using the PayByPhone app (Location #123211)
  • If your event offers a code to waive the parking fee, obtain it from your event contact and present it to the gatehouse attendant.

Once parked, you can access Kane Hall and Mary Gates Hall in the following ways:

Kane Hall

  • From the garage, find the “Kane Hall” corridor (in the northeast corner of the garage).
  • The easiest way to access Kane is from the C1, C3, and C5 garages.
  • Take the elevator to the appropriate floor:
    • 1st floor for Rooms 110, 120, 130
    • 2nd floor for Rooms 210, 220, Walker-Ames.

Mary Gates Hall

  • Park in the garage and follow directions toward Gerberding Hall/Suzzallo Library.
  • Take the stairs leading to Red Square, then head south toward the Drumheller Fountain.
  • Mary Gates Hall will be on the left of the pathway leading to the fountain.

Alternative Parking

  • Check in at the North Gatehouse (off 45th Street and Memorial Way), pay attendant, and park as directed.
  • You may also use any self-serve parking lot. The N01 lot in front of the Burke Museum is the closest to central campus, followed by any other North Campus lots (N06, N20, N21, or N22).
  • Lots E01 and E18 are close to the stadium (a 15min uphill walk to Kane Hall) but may offer the cheapest parking rates.
